Hi Davor,

I tried to start both the LCD's together but the second LCD on Enviro is not starting!

My disp object looks like the following. The only thing I changed is the backlight and the cs pins as in the wiring diagram.

Could it be that the power is not enough? I am suppying 2.1 amps!

Hi, I have a question,

What pins do you use to connect Enviro to Ground and 5V? They are not on the pinout chart and I cannot find this information online.

Hi,

Any idea about the EnviroHat Pins for the I2C interface? The opposite side of the female header has some pins. I think one can use that too.!!

Anyways I am going to try that soon.

is it when you create the ST7735 object? I see the back light selling but not the GPI 07?

Great research! I will be checking it out. You have helped me get over a hurdle in my design that I’ve been pondering since I received the Challenger kit.

In my design, I have two raspberry PI’s because I couldn’t figure out the pins for the two hats.
I designed a communication scheme between the 2 PIs to communicate telemetry data between them. Because I realized then, that this was a conflict and how to stack the two hats. I know there was a hacker in the kit but couldn’t really find any information on the website on how to stack 2 hats using it.This was before I received the Challenger kit,

Once I receive the kit and started experimenting,

I realized there was a conflict between the two hats and was wondering how to stack them on one PI.
In my unboxing blog here Blog# 4 EAS - Research and Unboxing of the challenge kit , I tested the two hats on two separate PI‘ S.

I started down the road you took and was researching the conflicts in the possibility of having both hats attached to one PI, to make my design simpler.

Your solution is exactly what I need to run my design on one PI.. I will start today experimenting. This is a big breakthrough for me and I will reference this blog in my own unboxing blog, if that’s ok.

if everything works out, I will change my design to use only One PI

I know there’s another challenger [mention:af9afcdd12d240cc981e22fc1d60c025:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05] , that used only one PI in there design ,IGr0G - 09 - The control board so I know it was possible.
