Hope all are safe and sound. And where is your Enviro HAT located and what do you use its values for?

I see a big difference - 29% vs 88% in these 2 sensors.

Thank you!

RE: Space Vegetables - #20 | Software #5: Client #1

Very good update, well explained.

DAB

RE: Space Vegetables - #20 | Software #5: Client #1

This is so neat! I love that you're making use of the displays on the two HATs for the client and server status (as shown last week). I can understand why you went for the server approach now that I see how much data you're collecting from the space farm. But I keep forgetting that you're solving problems that arise when your farm is far away in space, so you needed the server anyway and just brought it all together with the nice web interface/dashboard/client.

The Automation HAT mini seem to be using the GPIO pins directly, so if you're using their library it's calling GPIO.cleanup() when it's done to leave the GPIO in a known/safe state (i.e. as high impedance inputs). Not sure if this is because you can't read back the pull-up/down settings from the GPIO registers on the Raspberry Pi, or it's just a good design choice to prevent unintentional shorts.

I'm guessing this is why you're having issues with the outputs not staying on? So the way you solved it seems like an excellent solution!

The HTU21 sensor seem really nice, I have to get myself one of those modules.

Happy to hear the ghosts are still behaving themselves [View:/resized-image/__size/16x16/__key/commentfiles/f7d226abd59f475c9d224a79e3f0ec07-4f4db295-74d6-44e7-bd38-a6555d470c13/contentimage_5F00_1.png:16:16]
