A nice bit of fettling there.

It was also interesting to see the stationary cart 'bucking' backwards a little bit when the arm is being raised quickly, due to the momentum of the arm. There are some methods for reducing this bucking using the arm configuration and velocity control approaches. Another subtle issue needing some fettling.

Dubbie

RE: Project R.A.G. - Blog #8 - Mechanical Build P2 - Robot On Rails

Good job.

Much smoother motion.

DAB

RE: Project R.A.G. - Blog #8 - Mechanical Build P2 - Robot On Rails

Great work on diagnosing and fixing your problems. Everything is working/looking great. Keep up the good work!
