Are mushrooms a vegetable? I planted six cauliflowers last Autumn. One got rot, two were eaten by something (I still have not been able to work out what) and three are now flourishing but are not showing any sign of fruiting. I don&#39;t think I&#39;ll try them again. It&#39;s courgettes and French bean for me, plus a few potatoes.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I&#39;m looking forward to hearing about the eventual harvest and consumption.
