Although we got to measure performance of internal combustion engines in great detail, we only analyzed external combustion (Stirling cycle) engines theoretically. But yours will be way cooler. Perhaps a Peltier module (powered externally) to generate controlled heat?

Now if you can then run the Peltier module off the power created, you will have created a perpetual energy machine - a sure winner! [View:/resized-image/__size/16x16/__key/commentfiles/f7d226abd59f475c9d224a79e3f0ec07-5483d45d-2bc5-408e-89ca-ebba9a895525/contentimage_5F00_3.png:16:16]

RE: Stirling Blue - Project Description - Blog 1

Great project, I too have a Stirling Engine that I built up, no analysis options though.
