Nice update on your design challenge project. It is nice that you design has the flexibility to more the computing responsibilities around like you are doing. Driving a simple LCD does take quite a bit of memory, so moving off the micro:bit does seem like a good idea. I look forward to see all of this working, so good luck on your future steps.

Doug, this project is incredibly nice. I love also the aesthetics you decided for the entire system. The rounded screen display remember me a 50's B/W televisions. As the keyboard is on a separate board, did you considered the option to have a device folding like a super-mini laptop?
