But we received a package with the spare parts for the environmental sensor that broke and we couldn't resist making one last effort and redoing the design of our s

RE: VenTTracker #14 (aka #11 bis) - Environmental Monitor Revisited - Version 2

I added a potentiometer to adjust the LCD brightness and turn off the display when not needed.

[View:/resized-image/__size/620x439/__key/commentfiles/f7d226abd59f475c9d224a79e3f0ec07-e249d9b3-86ea-4180-b9f6-843f583c7eee/4201.contentimage_5F00_207934.png:620:439]

[View:/resized-image/__size/620x465/__key/commentfiles/f7d226abd59f475c9d224a79e3f0ec07-e249d9b3-86ea-4180-b9f6-843f583c7eee/7652.contentimage_5F00_207935.jpg:620:465]

[View:/resized-image/__size/620x465/__key/commentfiles/f7d226abd59f475c9d224a79e3f0ec07-e249d9b3-86ea-4180-b9f6-843f583c7eee/0871.contentimage_5F00_207936.jpg:620:465]

[View:/resized-image/__size/620x465/__key/commentfiles/f7d226abd59f475c9d224a79e3f0ec07-e249d9b3-86ea-4180-b9f6-843f583c7eee/6170.contentimage_5F00_207937.jpg:620:465]

RE: VenTTracker #14 (aka #11 bis) - Environmental Monitor Revisited - Version 2

I have updated the software to update the device time. The ArduinoIoTCloud library already takes care of the update in the background. The Nano 33 IoT has a real-time clock module built into the processor, which can be accessed via the RTCZero library. With this, we can keep track of hours, minutes and seconds easily. As long as the device is on, the real-time clock will mark the time. And when connecting to the arduino iot cloud it is updated by NTP.

Changes can be downloaded from the project repository:

https://github.com/javagoza/venttracker/tree/main/blog_14/code/environmental_monitor_version_02
