Just a word of caution

The Servo looks to be a PWM servo as found in remote controlled models, it can not be driven by the Infineon Motor control board as you depict in your diagram, but you can in fact drive it directly from the Arduino or SAMA5D4 board

if you look at the picture of it, there are 3 wires, two for the power and one for the PWM (White one)

There is nothing to stop you getting a different motor though and adding it to the collection

Nice project idea btw

Very cool project guys.

I guess there will be a lot of mechanics involved on top of the electronics/programming so this is going to be very impressive. Lookin fwd :-)

Chrystal and Dale this does sound very enchanting. I've never made a wooden clock but I did make a Topsy Turvy Clock last year. I've also been following Woodgears for some time, you might get some good ideas from there.
