You won't be the first (or the last) to have expectations in your plan, and for varying reasons not make it.

I think your struggles have been very well documented, so unlike many other challengers who seem to give up early, you have fought until the end.

No-one can accuse you of not trying, and your first post made this pretty clear

Oh yes, the challenge has definitely been a learning experience, mostly on the Linux side rather than any new electronics. I will hopefully be working on a stretch goal when I get back from holiday which has a few enchanting electronic components.
