Look at Arduino - ArduinoYun. If you connect your PC to the funny shaped port, you can see a login for serial machine. If you enter ifconfig. it will show current IP address.

You first need to switch your WiFi on your laptop to the Yun. Only then it will be available on that ip address.

Search for 'Configuring the onboard WiFi', then follow the exact steps.

Just re-read your comments and you had done that.

If the Yún can't be found by name (don't worry, it doesn't work on my PC reliable eather, even though I installed the Bonjour Print Service),

then you have this option:

Go to the management page of your WiFI router, and look for the Yún. On my router, it shows up as 'Device' [View:/resized-image/__size/16x16/__key/commentfiles/f7d226abd59f475c9d224a79e3f0ec07-3cac2dfd-6841-4f46-84d5-cf41bf792e9e/contentimage_5F00_1.png:16:16].

Check it's IP address.

Use your browser, and type: http://<that ip address>
