Exceptional experiments from all challengers! I'm sure the judges were splitting hairs to decide on a runner up, there were so many great blogs.

The MAX40080 is an exceptional NPI from Maxim! The common-mode input range spans 34V over the amplifiers supply rail with essential zero input bias current!

I believe the front-end is a capacitively coupled differential chopper amp, which is a relatively new amplifier topology. But I'm not sure...

I would also like to congrats Gough Lui for winning Runner Up Prize and all other challengers for winning finisher prize. For me it was two months of fun and learning even it cost me almost all my free time. The last member who did not finish competition also attemped experimenting with sensor but it looks that he failed. About one week before deadline when I was googling for MAX40080 I randomly found his questions on Arduino forum and StackExchange. At StackExchange I gave him hint what is wrong with his program, but one week was most probably not enough for completing contest. If he would ask directly here on element14, he received answer much faster. His questions on external forum I found just randomly.
