Sorry to hear of your hand injury. I hope that your healing goes well. I have survived a variety of hand injuries throughout the years and most of them healed well (although I can only count to 9.75 on my fingers). My greatest concern now is arthritis due to some poor sets of broken digits (my fault).

Another super clear explanation of a very interesting project! This was a very informative and stimulating read. I have always been interesting in doing something like this, but lately there is so little spare time.

I just watched some snippets from the annual Google I/O event and AI is only going to get better and more adept at this sort of thing (ambient audio source recognition).
