This is the mandatory Final Results Blog for Experimenting with Flyback Transformers.
I cap up my participation in this design challenge playing with common mode chokes and AC-DC flybacks. I am not submitting dedicted blogs for these due-to short circuits.
The short-circuit in CM choke happened due to hurry and accidently shorting it, as the wire flew to opposite !
The short circuit in AC-DC flybacks happened, dont who why, tried 4-5 ways with 4-5 transformers including polarity, exchanging primary secondary, all gave short circuits with a trip.
1) The general schematic to run BOURNS AC- DC transformers is below,
Fig. : General Schematic : BOURNS AC-DC Flyback Transformer, in conjunction with BOURNS gate drive transformer and BOURNS common mode choke..
Fig. : Planned Schematic for AC-DC Flybacks, gate drive and Common Mode Choke.
2) Even the plan was to remove full bridge rectifier , after mains
Common Mode Chokes
For Common Mode Chokes, there is a good blog on Common Mode which explains - 'EMC Basics: Common Mode vs. Differential Noise'.
Experiment Play 1, BOURNS 093267
Also, magnetic field is measured using mobile applet
Experiment Play 2, BOURNS 071923
Now tried another choke but wire flew. and costed 2 multimeters

Learn from the mistake, so soldered now
Experiment Play 4
Common mode choke now with full wave bridge rectifier

Experiment Play 5
Measuring inducatnces of both Common mode chokes, after soldering. Here again a waste of effort as after short only I should have tested, not after soldering.
The LCR meter indicates, primary is permanently shorted
1) Choke 1
Primary
inductance ---
capacitance ---
Secondary
inductance : 0.48 mH ,in second reading, this was -----
capacitance : 5.3 pF
2) Choke 2
Primary :
inductance ---
capacitance ---
Secondary
inductance 0.505 mH
capacitance 89.8- 90.2 μF
EXPERIMENT PLAY 6
The 4-5 transformers which caused short, not uploaded.
