This also seems a great opportunity to develop an "experiment board". I sometimes do that when learning a new technology or for tweaking things beyond what's possible when experimenting with a breadboard.

It could have a driver. and configurable oscillator (it could even be a Pi Pico, perhaps controlled by Python or LabView, to allow experimentation with a variety of transformers, and it could also have a rectifier circuit and some resistors for applying a dummy load.

It's a fantastic bundle of transformers. And some experiments are possible with just a few transistors or 555, so it's quick to dive into experimenting with them.

I hope someone experiments with powerline comms as well, because some of the transformers in the kit look ideal for that. There are currently not many practical projects for engineers to learn from using that technology, so it seems a really good opportunity for people to experiment. It would be awesome to see someone develop a simple modem for (say) indoor use, , it could be extremely handy for signaling between homes and garages, and it would be interesting to see if it works within an office or warehouse.
