Last week I received my MAX25405 Evaluation Kit which we use as part of Experimenting with Gesture Sensors Design Challenge. Because It is very advanced evaluation kit I will describe my first thoughts about it in multiple blog posts.

RE: Blog #2: Unboxing and Powering MAX25405 Evaluation Kit

Good engineering fix.

RE: Blog #2: Unboxing and Powering MAX25405 Evaluation Kit

Yes, I too am rather surprised that the shield schematic is not provided openly as it is surely needed. What I was not sure of is whether you could safely use 5V as the spec sheet for the MAX25404 say that LDO_IN Supply Voltage is MIN 2.7V and MAX 5.5V.

So, thanks for sharing the option to use the pin headers as this will be more useful... I too couldn't use the plug so had to take another route, which requires much more care and attention [emoticon:4b473fb4671244b2a5887318abe9e44a].
