This is the 3rd design challenge I've participated in. The previous ones were long ago: "Internet of Holiday Lights" and "Enchanted Objects".
Those two times, I didn't make it to the finalists, but I enjoyed those a lot too. A challenge is a great way to interact with the other players.

Congratulations to the grand prize winner, Jan, for his inspiring and varied experiments with magnetic components. It's been great to have Jan as a challenge partner. He has been helping others, giving advice, providing ideas, reading all the blogs, ultimately making this challenge a group work. A well deserved award.

Thank you judges for your laborious task of going through all those blog posts and the difficult task of just picking two winners.

Congratulations to all the participants of this Design Challenge. I really enjoyed reading and learning from all the published blogs.
It has been a great learning experience. I have tried to replicate many of the experiments, to the best of my ability, and have been able to fully understand all the effort behind them.
Maybe I would have had to blog about all those attempts of mine to replicate the experiments of the other challengers too, I'm writing it down as an idea for the next challenge, I'm already looking forward to it :)

And finally, a special thanks to Randall who encouraged me to participate in the challenge despite my doubts due to my lack of knowledge on the subject. I encourage anyone to participate in the next challenges, it is a unique experience and opportunity to learn.
