Proceed in the same way in vivado and extract *sxa file and bitstream file and use it in vitis. After the Debug is completed, the CIS screen does not appear on the monitor connected via HDMI, and an unknown screen appears as shown in the picture. The TeraTerm window appears without any problems as above. (2--> PCAM 5C to HDMI)

Is there any way to know what the problem is?

Amazing blog. I seem to remember from your first blog that one of your aims is to embed thermal imaging onto the video. Can the Demosaic IP core mentioned in this blog help with that. I guess I am asking if it can also work on thermal images.

However, when I try to run the synthesis using default strategy, it seems to run forever (never stops). Maybe is my hardware, I dont know. I'm using Vivado 2021.1, and my OS is Windows 10-64 bits. What versions are you using? Any idea what's going on?

Btw, I do wish there were an IP block with the "3A Algorithms" implemented. I came across this issue last year when I tried to use a RPi v2 camera with the Zybo (Zynq 7020 based).

The PCAM-5C comes with a built-in ISP that handles the auto exposure and color balance. On the other hand, many newer cameras expect the host system's ISP to do the same. This creates an issue when you're using them with an FPGA.

For now, with the PCAM-5C you don't have to worry about it. Good luck!
