Hi, I'm currently working on rebuilding the PYNQ image for a custom board. Could you share what specific requirement files or configuration files need to be included in the board folder (e.g., board.spec, hdf/xsa , .bsp, etc.)? I want to make sure I have everything set up correctly before starting the build process. Thanks in advance!

Dear Javagoza,

I am a student that just started on DL boards, I was using your blog to get started on this subject, however I am stuck at Tera Term, I don't know why when I start it, and while I am connected to the board, with the USB cable, and ethernet cable, it shows that the port is COM 7, and not COM 4 as seen in this blog, I will try on another laptop, and another possibility I could think of is that I am using the latest version of Tera Term, which is Tera Term 5, and I though maybe you are using an older version? if so can you kindly share with me the software?

I'm facing a problem with the interface ( Tetra Term 5 ), it's not showing the same as the picture you attached to this page. Also, my board is LD's are not flashing as mentioned in the blog. I will attach the pictures to this comment. Your help will be truly appreciated.

Thank you and thumbs up for the great knowledge sharing. I am planning to develop deep learning project with my students using similar Zynq 7000 SOC.

For the Digilent Arty Z7-10, is this model can work similar to your demo using the Z7-20?

Also, you mentioned the PYNQ-Z1. Do we need to have this component interface with the Arty Z7-20? Or optional? I could not really understand this part as you exhibit only the photos with Arty Z7-20 without the PYNQ-Z1 board. Correct me if I am wrong.

The goal was to make a mood synth. Analyse the "mood" of what the camera sees, and translate that into electronic music. Constantly evolving based on what's in front of the cam.

What works:

- generate sounds, chords, rythms in the FPGA, based on mood parameters.

- capture camera (or other hdmi) stream and pass it through a custom block in the FPGA to an FPGI output.

What isn't completed:

- let the custom block interprete the stream and (try to) derive mood parameters from it. Based on image change level (on screen activity), colours, light.

- integrate the mood sound sytems with the parameters derived from the video stream.
