Smart systems on wheels! Create a prototype smart electric vehicle or smart system for a next-generation of vehicles. Help it overcome obstacles, optimize battery performance - that’s what this Smart Transport Design Challenge is all about.
In this challenge we ask participants to design a prototype or test rig using a kit of components from ADI, Molex, and NI.
5 selected Challengers will get the kit of Components below FREE of charge to help build a smart transport-themed prototype.
For the chance to win one of the prizes below, you must blog your build process and share the final outcome of your Project that showcases features of the sponsor’s components in the most imaginative way possible.
Example projects include but are not limited to:
- Prototype EV Vehicle
- Auto-charging EV parking space
- Battery management and battery insight system
- Speed Monitoring Prototype
- EV Safety and Redundancy System
- Traffic Management Solution

*Don't worry if a prize is out of stock in your region or does not have the right plug for you. We can ship from global stocks, include a plug adaptor, or find a local equivalent of a prize.

Special Terms
5 Applicants will be chosen to receive The Kit above, these successful applicants will be our sponsored challengers. The sponsored challengers must showcase features of the kit in the most imaginative way possible. Good and imaginative uses of component features will be graded more favorably.
Challengers must post their progress and final project as at least 5 Forum Thread updates and 1 Project Blog type and post before the closing date.
Posts which are media rich with Photos, Videos and Code samples will be viewed more favorably in the Judging Process.
