Warning, doing a fresh Noobs 1.3.10 install of Raspbian, apt-get update and load of OpenHAB on a 4gb sd card leaves me with a 98% full partition.

You may want to go with a larger sd card to start or use a non-noobs way to prepare your system. The new noobs creates a recovery partition consuming some of the space.

Nov 2014 - Latest version is 1.5.1

With this version you don't need the workaround to get designer to open.

Tons of output on the console when running the demo with error looking statements but the demo seems to be functioning. I'm assuming for now this isn't a real problem.

Thanks for the blog, I'll report back later with more feedback. Just getting into "Designer" now.

Hi @Frederick, I am facing problem in setup openHAB on rasi-Pi B I am using latest Rasbian-Wheezy os. I am following same steps you have mentioned but no luck... do i need to install java or any thing else..? As I have seen that latest raspbian os comes with java jdk 7... do i need to enable it? error is ERROR o.o.m.c.i.f.FolderObserver[:105] - An unexpected exception has occured

Have you received EnOcean Sensor kit for this roadtest? or You have it already? I am very excited to start building with Enocean sensors and openHAB but still waiting for shipment to arrive...
