I was at an all day Entrepreneurs University program today so I did not learn about being selected Runner up until this afternoon. It seemed to be an especially long week of waiting (12 days 5 hours 38 minutes 57 seconds not that I'm counting or anything :-) ) to hear so this really made my day. I'd like to thank all the judges and sponsors for giving me the chance to compete.

I love building stuff so as you might imagine I began spending more and more of my time working on the challenge. Some how it got away from me and I barely finished in time. I wish there was a little more time to clean up some of the rough edges on some of the designs. Anyway, working with the Raspberry Pi and wireless energy harvesting sensors has been a blast and has given me some ideas for some new projects. These include wireless battery free environmental sensors, and a rechargeable battery pack HAT for the Raspberry Pi.
