Now I'm trying to restore it to its original state by downloading firmware from the enocean website and programming it to the unit. Now the problems is that I am getting temperature telegrams from the stm330 but the temperature is all wrong. When the blow warm air at it, the temperature reading drops instead or rising.

I checked the application note on calibrating the device but there is no info on inverted readings.

Any clue anyone?

How to use raspberry pi and MSP430G2553 launchpad with nRF24L01?

Hi community,

I'm trying to make a wireless communication link between my raspberry pi and MSP430G2553 launchpad using nRF24L01 modules.

I'm using RF24 library for raspberry pi and Enrf24 library for launchpad.

First thing I tried was to configure one of mu launchpad+nRF module as transmitter and other pair as a reciever( as in the sample comes with Enrf24 library ) and it works fine.

Now I want my raspberry pi to be the receiver. When I connect EOP350 to PC( running linux ), it shows two USB ports -- ttyUSB0 and ttyUSB1. In this USB0 is not at all responding. USB1 is responding, but i think I'm not sure about what is the correct baudrate to set. I tried everything from 9600, 19200 to 115200, but the response I'm getting is not the one I used to get with my EnOcean Pi( ESP protocol ). If I want to utilize the GPIO on the STM330 temperature sensor, the manual gives a method of doing so, but it requires either the USB300 USB-SPI adapter or the development board. I was hoping that would come with the sensor kits, but I didn't get one. Did anyone receive one with their kit?

Does anyone know of some alternate method of programming the STM330? Being able to program it opens up a world of possibilities...most of what I was hoping to do with it.

How chill is your fridge???

So playing around with the EnOcean temp sensor and I have the thought, "I wonder if it will work in my fridge???"

Now where the pi is set up atm there is some fairly well built walls in the way between it and the fridge and of cause the fact that a fridge is a big metal box. So will it work? Well it turns out it does and the sensor is reporting back 3.9C (around 39F).

Just a bit of a random post. (Hence the discussion not blog post, blog post will come either Wednesday or Thursday. Want to chase this bug a little more first).

Dan :-)
