I agree with Leslie, I wonder why the CapPin library did not work on battery.

Have you contacted the vendor to see if they have a fix? Either way I would like to hear what they say about the function and batter use.

That information could be very useful in designing projects.

Wow, that's so interesting about the CapPin library not operating on battery. I wonder why that is? Is it the different voltage? I had another project where I had to use a CapSense library. It was going well until they did an update, and then I got stuck. It wasn't until I met Leah Buechley herself, that I was able to muddle through things. Her student had done a CapSense piano and I was able to hack that code. BTW, the move of the LED to another location on your camera was so wise. Tell Victor he is a true hacker in the best sense. I'm so happy your project has continued this way and I love your choice of primary colors for the wiring. Women really ought to be part of circuits more often because they are art!
