I think that what you have done is pretty darn good. Making aesthetic things with electronics is very difficult because of the constraints of wiring, control, and power supplies, none of which want to be beautified. I made , correction, I tried to make a necklace for my wife out of small red surface mount LEDs I had salvaged from a circuit board. I made an outer ring and an inner ring with spacing so that the LEDs would fit between the inner and outer ring. I brought the power in on the necklace chain from each side. I wanted the LEDs to glow softly like magic rubies. The power was at the back of the neck in the clasp. Unfortunately my wife who knows quality jewelry when she sees it thanked me politely and proudly hung it on her jewelry rack. I felt like a small boy who had just brought his art work home for Mom to hang on the refrigerator. It wasn't very good and my concept was way ahead of my execution. Keep up the good work, you will find some way to make it the way you want.

Hi Barbara,

Have you considered using glass beads to give the tiara that sparkle look?

You could also wrap the wire with foil so that it looked like gold or platinum wire.

Add in some colored beads to reflect the light and you have an imitation diamond tiara with pizazz.
