Barbara your hat is just beautiful. Even when it's not lit up it's very pretty. It certainly comes to life in the dark. I'm sure there are many people that would love to have one of these. You've had few setbacks, but you worked your way through them and the results are amazing.

Congratulations everyone seems to be having a great time with it. The effect is really great; i wish you had included your code though. i was wondering how your accelerometer code looked i couldn't crack it for the Gemma.

Looks good.

If you want to brighten the light with less movement, you can sum the accelerometer data over time to build the brightness value with less movement.
