Hi [mention:ca2fe37c8c70477fb45e83ddaf152e5d:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05] did you manage to get the Launchpad running? I still didn't get the CC3200 LaunchPad but my MSP430G2 is working with drivers found here: Guide_MacOSX | Energia

There's also a CC3200 LP driver available there.

Hello Frederick,

I have also received the two boards, and I also have no previous experience with them. I tried the CC3200 first, communication worked straight away (on windows, did not try mac) however it took me some time to realize that I needed to remove jumper from P58-VCC to SOP2, in order to upload new code with Energia. (will post more details on my blog)

You are the first one to receive the kit but sharing your experience helps others so that we don't lose time on things you already sorted out!

As for running Energia on a Mac, I had no issues on Yosemite. But I only have a G2 Launchpad...

I am a little surprised that Energia did not work on your Mac, but I suspect there is a limited user base for it on that platform.
