If you decide you want to control things, (instead of just &quot;reading&quot; sensors, and sending to the cloud), you will find that openhab running on BBB is going to be a very powerfull aproach.</p><p>Neverthe less, I assume/hope that Airvantage should have somekind of rule-engine, so that you can also specify and control stuff from there too.
