Its output is PWM and I am unable to convert the output into mg/m3. So please kindly provide the necessary information required if anyone know it.

Thanks

RE: [AirCare] InTheAir - Week 7: Dust sensor

Hi Frederick!

Wow -that's very interesting. It is definitely a dramatic difference in measurement, I didn't realize this sensor would be so effective! I've added one to my list to purchase.

It's great that it has all analog processing built-in.

Thanks for all the posts!

RE: [AirCare] InTheAir - Week 7: Dust sensor

Have you considered that the dust will accumulate inside the air sock and skew your readings?

You might want to have a small blow through chamber to concentrate your air sample, but make sure it is blown away before the next sample is taken.

DAB

RE: [AirCare] InTheAir - Week 7: Dust sensor

Good work, Frederick.

Have you tried running it without a fan?

Dragan

RE: [AirCare] InTheAir - Week 7: Dust sensor

Good work.

I'm pleased to see you starting simple and ensuring that your measurements are the real deal.

Mark
