The schematic is neatly laid out too! &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It&amp;#39;s great to see people doing so much surface-mount custom PCB design, switching power design and low-signal analog sensor integration in this design challenge!! : )&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;The parts creation in EAGLE can take a while at first, but its possible to get to the point where a part can be created in 5 minutes or less with EAGLE. I&amp;#39;ve created close to 400 parts in EAGLE.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;(I&amp;#39;m sure others must have created thousands). Sometimes they were already in supplied libraries but often I want my own symbol, outline, etc.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Its also possible to automate it if you intend to use EAGLE often (for example, I have written code to generate any SIL, DIL or quad pads and automatically name, place outlines, etc.,&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;and tools to draw any arbitrary &lt;span&gt;wound inductor, and so on. (all open source, files uploaded somewhere on element14).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Looking forward to seeing this take shape!!
