Arduino+GPRS or Raspberry-Pi to Airvantage

Hii friends,

I am waiting for BBB. But I have Arduino SIM900 GPRS module and raspberry-pi B+... So I wana start with what I have...

 

Can you suggest any DIY link for connecting to Airvantage cloud using ARDUINO+SIM900GPRS or Raspberry-Pi...

 

I have googled a lot but not getting any Idea....

    Hi Ravi! If you're using a third party device, according to Sierra AirVantage documentation here , (needs registration) you can do this using MQTT or even just HTTP. I'm not familiar with GPRS modules…

    Hi Ravi!

     

    If you're using a third party device, according to Sierra AirVantage documentation here, (needs registration) you can do this using MQTT or even just HTTP.

    I'm not familiar with GPRS modules, but probably for a prototype while you are waiting for your hardware, I would not bother with it, and just use the Ethernet

    connection on the RPI for now. If you are planning to use the SIM900 for your actual project, then hopefully there should be examples on how to get Internet connectivity

    with it on the web.
