Since my last post I have been doing some tests with the module and also did some research on using a custom coil.
Below is a drawing of the device. The Detector Circuit will contain a microcontroller, Bluetooth module, LDC1000, piezobuzzer, headphone connection. To balance the device, we can put the power supply at the start of the handle.
You can connect to the device with a smartphone via Bluetooth. It is possible to mount your smartphone to the handle. An App can control the microcontroller and LDC1000. The App can also show measurements and visuals.
I have bought some parts (like copper wire) and will start with building some coils. There are different form factors to test (round, ellipse, dual coil).
