Got the CC3200 talking to server. Needed to get the ISM band working to communicate to a receiver in the house to ring a doorbell and/or buzzer. Battled some issues this weekend getting the CC110L boosterpack to play nice with the CC3200 launchpad. Turns out it was just a ISM sensor I was testing for moisture was left on in the yard and was sending data at the same time occasionally. The CC3200 launchpad works well with a CC110L boosterpack attached.

IoT_Gate #2

Needed to implement a way to ring the doorbell inside the house in case phone is unavailable for alert. Been working on implementing ISM band radio to a receiver connected to the ring circuit in the house. Spent the week writing the code for the ISM. Currently have an CC110L boosterpack on the CC3200 dev kit communicating to another CC110L with MSP430 wired with a relay to simulate a push button. If the wiring becomes difficult, I will just have it drive a buzzer.

Bill

Have a question for TI re: The Internet of the Backyard Challenge?
