The Avnet Minized development board has as its sound sensor an ST MP45DT02 MEMS microphone that generates a 1-bit pulse density modulated (PDM) signal. In this blog we are going to see different alternatives to conve...

RE: P2P3 AMD Vivado Cascaded Integrator Comb (CIC) Compiler. I designed some boards for a client using a similar microphone. Fortunately for me, I only did the hardware and the client did the software, but it still looks like an area I should investigate more in the near future. Currently I an working on a microphone based system (solely in the analog realm) where I need to amplify a microphone and extract and sample the envelope to determine relative speech patterns, then delay the audio track a bit to allow the extracted speech pattern to be processed and to remain in sync with the speech. Future developments might include other filter/processing on the speech to do some level of voice changing. As I look at your work, it seems that there would be huge possibilities of creating effect digitally. Nice work and thanks for sharing!
