So the spec requires that you use Raspberry Pi accessory products of your choice - can you make your own?

The Raspberry Pi Pico is the main focus of this challenge, as long as you use that, you can expand on it as you would like. Blogging it and publishing your code is viewed more favorable.

You can make anything you want as long as it includes the Raspberry Pi Pico and is music or performance based.

The main hardware requirement seems to that a Pi Pico must be used. In the terms it states “challengers must use the Raspberry Pi Pico within their project, and publish their final code and designs on the Community for others to use.” I suspect most entrants will be designing and constructing the rest of the hardware in their project.
