Nice presentation.

One minor thing is adding the links to your previous blogs.

I did mine with a list at the top ...

My feeling this time is that I need to send the RF433 message a couple of times

I used a library (RCSwitch) for this part and it included a repeat function.

I also discovered the units I used didn't like being side by side, so I'm guessing the local oscialltor was a bit leaky and tended to swamp the 'poorest' receiver.

It may have been faulty, but it had me going during testing.

I am very impressed with the quality of your post, it is not often I see this level of detail and clear pictures etc. Well done

I am curious why you use the Dallas Temp Sensor when you have the DHT Temperature and Humidity sensor already (Aside from the fact the Dallas is more accurate than the DHT), for normal room sensing the DHT would normally be good enough

Also are you aware of the ESP8266 modules that would allow you to connect directly to your local WIFI network and that they can be had for just a few $$$ each. An alternative if you have issues with the RF24 modules and probably almost as cheap as the RF433 modules.

Very informative blog post....

one thing I need to suggest regarding good soldering practice... That never solder your circuits while its on breadboard... coz as you put your iron little longer on solder points, and if the lead which is being soldered is in the breadboard it simply melt down breadboard plastic.. And your circuit got trapped on breadboard..,.

I like your thread by thread approach.

Another thing you can do is only update sensor data for change. This method can cut down on message traffic, which can also reduce your power requirements and improve response time.

Just a thought.
