Hi Gerrit, I'm trying to replicate your project and got stuck in the code to sync the cameras. i have 2 Pi's 3b+ instead of the ones you use

I have some doubts:

1- On the step 6 "Putting the slave Pi to work" we deactivate the graphical user interface, and you mention that the code goes in the pi slave that does not have a graphical interface. that brings me to the first question

2- How do I put the code on the Pi slave? vi or vim?

3- and where i should save the file "slave_camera.py".

I know it has been a while since you did this project, but I am very interested in finishing it. Thanks for your contribution.

Nice simple solution.

You could also time synchronize the two RPi's to take the photos.

The NDVI data you are looking at is not super time sensitive as it takes a while for a plant to exhibit outward signs of stress.
