Been there, try not to go there again....

These little 'time wasters' are always the things that get you.

Nice to see you've been able to identify each problem and keep heading towards the end goal.

If you decide the RF24 modules just don't work out, I can suggest the RFM69 modules that we got introduced to in the Forget me Not challenge.

It's relatively easy to add the single gateway to get serial or I2C data.

You are making good steady progress and highlighting that not all integration efforts work smoothly.
