Will the sensor hub be battery powered?

Have you considered provisions to do closed loop control like opening vents?

Johnathan,

Very nice start! I have always wanted a good, remote temperature monitoring system. I have owned a couple of 2-channel, wireless monitors in the past, but these things were flaky. They would work one week and then fail the next. I was part of a three person competition grilling team and we would run between 4 to 6 cookers through the night and early morning. Being able to stay warm and monitor the temps was a good feature, but when they failed you back out in the cold checking them manually.
