"HX711 python library" is not opening.. ip address couldn't reach.. send edited code immediately..

Instead of having the pan hang out over the side of the wire spool, why don't you reverse it (with a couple of spacers) so that the pan is over the center of the spool?

Nice update.

Is your load cell aluminum? If so, you might have some thermal expansion issues if you get your scale hear hot or cold things.

Great progress on your project (even with you being busy). It looks like things are moving along nicely. Will the accuracy that you were seeing going to be good enough for your plan? Are the errors all stacked up in one direction, such that you might be able to calibrate them out?

Nice explanation of the load cell operation and use. I note the strategically placed Pi for counterbalancing the test setup!
