Hi Bharteindu,

I have installed the build image of wolfson pi on a 16gb SD card and it works fine. Hence the best solution is to install the image in the 16GB Sd card. This will also give you a lot of space for recording audios and can get rid of compiling and installing the drivers and packages on the standard RASPBIAN. Kindly try this and it will definitely work as it has worked for me.

It's the standard Raspbian image with the Wolfson drivers patched in. The image is 2.8G, so should fit comfortably on your card.

Please give a try as that - format your SD card using SDFormatter with Format Size Adjustment setting is ON.

If I had known when I purchased the Wolfson card that I was going to have to use a special pre-built custom OS image I would have gone a different route. This is bogus. Talk about shipping a product to market before it's ready.

In another forum someone has created basically a kernel image and the libs so you supposedly can install this on top of your existing raspbian OS. But like with most everyone else dmesg is just full of stack traces.

I'm so disappointed in this product.

They keep promising an official driver install via apt but that's been weeks now.
