Hi there, thanks for the tutorial.

I'm starting coding and I find this project really interesting.

I would like to know if it is possible to format the text printed(like change the font type or size) or even to add some pictures on it, like emoji for example. There is a way to do it adding some features to this print code?

Im próbuje zastosować kod w C ++ do raspbery PI 3, która działa pod Ubuntu kolegi, właśnie kupiłem Adafruit ostateczny gps breakout v3 GPS i mam pewne problemy w kompilacjach, Pomożesz z nim ?? Co należy dokładnie umieścić w oknie polecenia, a które pliki należy używać, może starać się rozmawiać za pośrednictwem poczty elektronicznej lub skype, ja nie chcę spamu tutaj, uważa Mike

I have installed the skype application in RPi2 ( Reference Link :- https://eltechs.com/run-skype-on-raspberry-pi/ ). I can able to establish the call from skype application of RPi whereas i am unable to establish the video call from RPi. I can able to see the attached camera module in video devices under options menu of skype whereas if i made a video call, i can able to see only small black screen. Can anyone please help me out to resolve this issue?

Hello from June 2016. The tutorial still works with some corrections (I'm running an up-to-date Raspbian GNU/Linux 7 (wheezy) on RPi2):

1) Apt-get was "Unable to locate package openssl-dev", and this problem at the very first step nearly broke my will to continue... After some research I've installed "libssl-dev" - it seems, that the package was just renamed:

root@rpi2:~# apt-get install libssl-dev

2) If you gonna test mosquitto under root, you have to add line "user root" into /etc/mosquitto.conf. By default mosquitto should be run from /etc/init.d under user "mosquitto" and it's working directory must be /etc/mosquitto.

3) To publish messages by means of "mosquitto_pub" command, you need more symlinks:

root@rpi2:~# ln -s /usr/local/lib/libmosquitto.so.1 /usr/lib/libmosquitto.so.1

Now the following command will send message to client's web browser:

root@rpi2:~# mosquitto_pub -u username -P password -t /World -m "test message from shell"

I have this too, some people are looking for instant answers to vague questions which I'd want to discuss further before making a recommendation. One trick I've learnt is to repeat back to them your understanding of their requirement and that a gives you time to think but it also allows them to develop their idea as they realise that they'd not fully thought it out so a win for all.

A good therapy for a bad experience like this is to write a blog and tell your friends about it. Many of us have had similar experiences in our lives and while it is painful at the time you will find that you emerge from the experience better than you were before it. I have learned that one of the most important things in business relationships is to have a very clear written agreement prior to doing the job. Then no one is surprised, or expecting more than they are getting.

Contract or not with the changes being made, it would be difficult to achieve a result.

It sounds like you are better being out of there, and I wonder if the IP you have developed belongs to you , your boss or the client.?

I'm sure it might be something you could refine for other purposes.

You are quite right to focus on something new and not dwell on it.

I can sympathize.

Depression is a very subtle illness and very misunderstood.

For some of us, medication solves the problem. For others, more therapy is needed and an adjustment to lifestyle is usually warranted.

I know my life improved greatly after I stopped my high pressure job so that I could work on things I enjoyed.

While there are still a number of things I would like to do, I understand that my disability prevents me from working on them.

So keep positive, find a new job that makes you happy and continue on.
