Dave loves to tinker and write about electronics. His days are spent building projects and working as a Technical Editor for MAKE.

"I'm really excited to be a judge for this contest, since I got my start sharing projects online with the element14 community(interested1 ).Thanks to the robust BeagleBone Black and Raspberry Pi threads, I was able to get my bearings quickly and make connections with others who share my interest in embedded boards for Makers. I can't wait to see what amazing projects the community comes up with and good luck to everyone submitting their builds!"

James Adams

James joined Raspberry Pi at the start of 2013 to head up hardware design, following a successful career in the Cambridge (UK) electronics sector doing electronic product design and chip design for both start-ups and tech giants. Notably James is the designer of the Raspberry Pi model B+, A+, Compute Module and Pi 2. James was also heavily involved in the design of the BCM2835 processor used in the Pi during his time at Broadcom, and more recently played a big part in the re-engineering of that chip to become the BCM2836 processor as used in Raspberry Pi 2.
