This is fantastic work! I'm setting up a project that uses ML to detect gear wear in machinery. I placed a help request in your 2nd Pollinator video. If you can spare a few minutes I would be grateful for some feedback.

very cool idea identifing Bees. I'm curious how the engineer obtained sample data for the identification matrix. I have a vision of someone spending spring afternoons chasing different bees with a tiny microphone... lol

Agriculture should "Bee" very interested in implementation of this product. It should not be to hard to scale of this project to included multiple solar powered sensors across an entire farm. Bee keepers may also be interested in knowing the commings and goings of their hive. This sensor could be modified to count.

Thank you very much, I am very honoured and rather blown away to be chosen. Congratulations to Mario, and all of the finishers too. This was my first experience on the element14 community site and I want to say to everyone I've met here how nice it has been to be able to enjoy and enhance my hobby here, with a lot of the fun being the chance to read everyone else's fascinating array of projects and take part in discussions on all sorts of interesting things that make our hobby such a good way to spend our time, thank you.

Update 18/07/23: The sensor has been deployed for 3 weeks now, and it has been fun to see what data has been collected. Good weather over the weekend resulted in nearly 4 days of continuous operation and data collection, albeit with a brief pause when storms on Sunday actually blew it over, and the panel ended face-down in the grass, resulting in a drained battery by that afternoon. We are back to overcast weather now so it has not been in operation since yesterday afternoon. I am pleased that it has survived the weather conditions, as the thing has had a hard time with rain recently!

Update 12/07/23: Weather-wise in my part of England we've had every type of weather possible in the past few days, but happily this has included some sun, so as you'll see from the project website (link in the blog into above), the sensor was able to come back to life and collect data yesterday and today too. I'm sure the bees also appreciate a break in the rain and lots of pollinator activity is going on in the garden, which the sensor seem to be picking up.
