We are launching our newest online Hack-a-thon Design Challenge on element14 Community Stand, Farnell Booth, in the Avnet City at electronica 2024.
10 successful applicants will get a NXP FRDM MCX A & N Series (A15X) free of charge to build and blog their project Building Automation Project.
This announcement will be communicated:
- In Person and Print materials at Electronica 2024
- Social media around the event
- E14 Community and Farnell electronica Landing Pages
- PR communications surrounding electronica and Farnell

The Prizes
Prizes are subject to change but will be of similar price and style.
**Grand Prize and Runner Up winners will also earn the finisher prize.

The Challenge Requirements
10 Applicants will be chosen to receive The Kit above, these successful applicants will be our sponsored challengers. The sponsored challengers must use both the NXP FRDM MCX A and NXP FRDM MCX N within their Building Automation project. Challengers must post their progress and a final project article, with minimum of 5 forum posts before the closing date. Posts which are media-rich with Photos, Videos and Code samples will be viewed more favourably in the Judging Process.

If you are not successful in becoming a sponsored Challenger but still want to enter, all you need to do is use a NXP FRDM MCX A or NXP FRDM MCX N within their Building Automation related projecas described above in your project and adhere to the same Terms and Conditions for a chance to be our winner! Non-sponsored Challengers are eligible for the Finisher and Winner Prizes, as well.

I'm thinking a greenhouse climate control and pest detection/deterrent system would be a cool project, however, mid-winter is not the best time to work on the greenhouse.
