I&amp;#39;ve never used one, but read explanations on the&lt;a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://mbed.org/handbook/RTOS" rel="nofollow ugc noopener" target="_blank"&gt; mbed website (very clear!)&lt;/a&gt;, and read through a lot of documentation of&lt;a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://www.chibios.org/dokuwiki/doku.php" rel="nofollow ugc noopener" target="_blank"&gt; ChibiOS&lt;/a&gt;.
