Nice review.

Personally I try not to use the CFL because they tend to give off a lot of high frequencies, which can trigger my migraine headaches.

Especially when I get them strobing with the computer monitor and real daylight. My brain just goes wild and I get a lot of pain for days.

My wife objects to the LED because the early type put out a lot of blue light. Being an Artist, she is very concerned with how the light affects the look of her paintings. I have seen a good deal of improvement in the LED colour output, so she might agree eventually.

I think everyone will have to go through a period of trying out each type to see which they can use best. I agree that as long as the price is right, most people will go for the less expensive bulb, but there are a lot of people who are light sensitive who might not attribute health problems with the type of light they work under. Those issues should be better identified for the public.

I suspect a lot of people are suffering and do not know why.
