Eagerly waiting for the results to be published (although I have a string idea who might be the winner). Its always difficult to judge so many different projects and come up with a fair result. I have a deep respect for all the people that invested so much time and effort into this. Many thanks!

I saw and element14 a promoted post on Facebook (from Spain) just one hour ago where it was announced the competition winner. But nothing yet on the blog.

is not yet and article here ? Or I am too late due my time-shift ?

Evaluating and comparing these disparate projects has to be a difficult task and it looks like it required a lot of effort including overtime hours. I can only imagine the kinds of discussion that must have taken place - it is a rare committee that can figure out how to agree on anything.

However 3rd party evaluation adds a lot of value - this format has added a whole new dimension to the design challenge concept, so congratulations on completing the job - all of your efforts are much appreciated by the community and especially the participants.

Unfortunately, my device failed. Battery failed completely (LiPo was completely discharged, it even got puffed) and wasn't possible to repair in given timeframe.

I would like to say thanks to people at Leeds Beckett who spent a lot of time trying to make it work.

I look forward to seeing the report, I do not envy the work in keeping all the marking fair and to the original intent but it looks like it came out ok with emphasis where it matters
