Because you don't require too much current at an instance in your design. That's what i had figured so far. Whereas li-po batteries are of high C ratings normally used where we need to draw much current instantly. Though some people say that it holds the charge better than li-ion, but li-ion is known to be having better longevity.

Also, li-ion is cheaper and some of these are protected by internal charge controller / thermal shutdown [like old Nokia BL 5CT batteries]. Li-po has some issues of being explosive too, I think.

On the other hand Li-po battery is smaller than Li-ion.

WOW! you have put $100 for PCB fabrication. Sigh..... I don't have hi-tech PCB fabrication facilities here [View:/resized-image/__size/16x16/__key/commentfiles/f7d226abd59f475c9d224a79e3f0ec07-c54cac79-ee20-44f8-96d0-87990d8b7801/contentimage_5F00_2.png:16:16].

I have to build the prototypes on single layer PCB by myself as usual, that's painful.

RE: [real_time_monitor] Real Time Player Monitoring System Post#1 : Introduction

Hi Ravi, Very good project plans here.

May I ask where you are sourcing the ECG Probes from?
