Like the potential helmet setup, am watching in anticipation as to how it will turn out

Are you using the CEL Robox to print out the parts ?., also what are you using for the designing of the models, it looks interesting (Now I have a CEL printer coming, im looking into the needed tools to go with it [View:/resized-image/__size/16x16/__key/commentfiles/f7d226abd59f475c9d224a79e3f0ec07-526e36ca-6866-461f-b258-a71d5c7300a9/contentimage_5F00_1.png:16:16] and your looking like you have a good handle on it)

One question: did you think of adding a Gyroscope sensor to the helmet? Rotational forces are much more dangerous to the head (and esp. the neck) than linear acceleration. And since you seem to have sensors on top of the helmet, this might be the perfect location to measure them.

Hi,

Looks really cool project!!

How have you planned to solve the bluetooth part? Implementing bluetooth stack in the cortex, and use a radio BT module over HCI? or a tipical SPP and adapt the software in the cell phone (tha's what I suppose seen update6)?

Have you considered using any board like CY8CKIT-042-BLE, so, you would have the ARM and the BT in the same board?

I will keep on waiting your updates for this project.

Interesting design choices.

I agree that you will be able to get some very nice data while playing hockey.

Even friendly games tend to get a bit competitive.
