Dear all,

I have sent a direct message to those of you, whom I know to take part in the final submission to this challenge.

That message has my shipment address plus phone number(s).

BUT:

PLEASE WAIT WITH THE SHIPMENT for confirmation by Premier Farnell. It may be that there needs to be a special procedure to be done, also regarding customs etc.

Also: if you did not get that direct message from me, then please notify me, as I then apparently do not have you on my list of finalists.

has any of you contestants an idea when the shipment of your devices will take place?

I have not heard from the organisers, and I was wondering when we can expect the devices so that we can schedule the evaluation.

Dear Sudden Impact participants,

Our team of evaluators was wondering if you could email us a copy of the description for each of the submissions, as you plan to include them in your shipment. This would allow us to have a closer look at your submission and to prepare the proper evaluations tests.

In your blogs there is a lot of information, but it would be only necessary for us to have a condensed version, with just the essential details of functionality, addressed sports, measured variables, mounting on the athletes etc.

It would be great if you could message me directly either a link or the doc/pdf, one for each submission.

So far I have no information when pickup will happen. My latest status is just that it will happen...

(But probably my prototype will have some difficulties with the test, its case was never designed to withstand larger forces...)

Just a reminder to the competitors that the evaluation done by Leeds Becket is a component to the overall judging criteria for the Sudden Impact Design Challenge. We will also be considering the content produced throughout the challenge.
